Every year our city of Naberezhnye Chelny grows and beautifies. There are many wide, beautiful streets, squares, avenues in it. The flow of traffic on the streets of the city is huge and endless. Every hour there are about 6 thousand cars. About 20 thousand pedestrians pass through the same streets in an hour. Among them, of course, are children. The child is interested in the street and everything that happens on it. And often, carried away by something new, unusual, gets on the street in life-threatening situations. That is why already in preschool age it is necessary to teach children to navigate in the immediate surroundings. This is all the more important to know the future student, since he has to be involved in the journey from home to school and back independently.

 

Our nursery-garden is located near noisy streets with heavy traffic, so the need for teaching children the rules of behavior on the street is prompted by life itself.

 

Much has been done by the pedagogical team to create conditions for working with children: methodical and children's literature, illustrative material, road signs and much more have been selected. The competition "Green Light" prompted us to more systematically systematize the work on teaching children the rules of the road, highlighting the following areas:

 

- to introduce preschool children with rigorous rules of the road;

 

- Educate the children of the culture of behavior on the street.

 

Together with the senior teacher of the nursery-garden N. A. Timokhova, a prospective plan was drawn up to introduce children to the rules of the road on the basis of the Program. Under the guidance of a traffic police officer, a workshop was held for educators. We thought about the forms and methods of working with children, supplemented the necessary visual material - a series of paintings "The School of Light Sciences", "Children, remember these rules", "Safety posters", the folder "I and Street". Additional purchased a variety of toy cars, made models simulating a street near our kindergarten, with all road signs on it and transitions. Updated the attributes for story-role games. Children of the school № 15 presented kindergartens with desktop and portable road signs, as well as silhouettes of houses, cars, people, and models. A special platform was set up on the site, where a traffic light, traffic signs, a police booth, and a filling station were installed.

 

Why did we start educational work with the children of the preparatory groups? First of all, they clarified their knowledge, obtained in previous years. It was found out that most of the children had an idea of ​​the basic rules of behavior on the street, but in time games on the site and in the group did not observe them. The guys did not know what translations are for and how to cross the road.

 

Before us was the task of clarifying and replenishing knowledge of children about road traffic, about the rules of behavior on the street. To this end, we decided to use, in addition to classes, children about traffic, about the rules of behavior on the street. For this, we decided to use target trips, in addition to classes. So, during the year we conducted a series of targeted walks along the highway. The children watched the traffic, the traffic lights. Together with the tutor the children remembered what red and yellow light means, under what light of a traffic light you can cross the street, and so on.

 

During the target walk to the passage, pedestrians were observed. Clarified: crossing the street is allowed only in certain places - on pedestrian crossings. Immediately noted that there are underground passages (passed with children through such a transition) and land (back on the ground pass). They remembered that in the middle of the street there is a "security island" where one can stand back, look around and wait for a moving stream of cars. They emphasized that no chauffeur had the right to drive to the "security island". The knowledge gained during the walk was fixed in the classroom.

 

We conducted excursions with the children, in preparation for which we tried to select the program material clearly. So, an excursion to the GAI post was organized. Before she started, they suggested that children think about how to ensure that the laws of streets and roads are not violated. The answers were different: the policeman is a regulator, the policeman is on the car of the traffic police, the signals of a traffic light,

 

When they approached the post of traffic police, they began to observe the work of the inspector. Considered how he was dressed. Children noted: it has a waterproof jacket, a protective helmet ("This is in case of rain, snow, any bad weather"); striped belt and armlets, in hands - a striped rod. They explained the meaning of the gestures of the regulator.

 

Watching, the children pondered, searched for answers to the questions posed by the educator. During the walks they often met the car of the traffic police. "This machine," the teacher said, "sees everything and hears everything around." To do this, she has a variety of devices: loudspeaker, pharoscope. The team in such a car must obey all drivers and all pedestrians. "

 

The children remember that helicopters help the traffic police to follow the traffic on the ring highway, that television cameras are installed on the roads, thanks to which the traffic inspector sees the whole face and violators.

 

After each excursion, a conversation was held, helping to consolidate the knowledge and presentations children received. The questions raised made it possible to determine whether the children had correctly understood what they saw. For example :

 

- Is there much traffic on the street?

 

- Where is the kindergarten located?

 

- Does it have a traffic light?

 

- Where do they cross the street with their mom (dad) when they go to kindergarten and back home?

 

On a walk, excursions, classes, during conversations there were riddles, verses about traffic lights, about policeman-regulator S. Mikhalkov "If the light was lit up red", "My street", "Three wonderful lights". For example: during a conversation about a policeman, the educator used a riddle:

The children quickly memorized the quatrains and pronounced, playing a variety of plot games.

 

Continued work on familiarizing children with the rules of the road and in classes to familiarize themselves with others. For example, suggested to consider the picture "Street of the city", and then answer the questions: What kind of transport goes on the street? Where do the cars go? Where can pedestrians walk? And so on. The children answered correctly: there are a lot of cars and trucks in the city, they carry loads of people. In order to cross the street, one must remember about the rules that the pedestrian must observe when crossing the street.

 

The educator summarized the statements of the children: many cars are passing through our street. There are cars that police pass without waiting. They rush, not stopping at intersections. These are special vehicles that need to quickly arrive at their destination - an ambulance, a fire truck, an emergency vehicle. On the layout in the group

 

The children recognized many of the cars that were seen on the street.

 

Especially interesting are the conversations with the participation of traffic policemen. One of them began with watching the movie "Your friends". Then the senior lieutenant talked with the children about the rules of behavior on the street, about traffic signals, offered to make a short story on the picture, explain the situation depicted on the postcard.

The traffic police officers built their conversations in such a way as to practice children in practical situations. For this, the street layout was used. The children were offered game exercises: move cars and pedestrian figures in accordance with the signal of a traffic light or gestures of the regulator. Or: find the name on the layout and explain its meaning, etc.

 

It is very important to teach children how to behave properly in the street. We pay special attention to this issue, using not only lessons, but also various situations during games, walks, excursions.

 

During the walks, the educator draws the attention of the children to the behavior of pedestrians: nobody runs away, not waving heavily with his hands and speaking quietly. Counter flows of pedestrians do not collide, because everyone goes along the sidewalk, adhering to the right side, cross the road, only in the place where there are lines or signposts "Transition". The teacher explains that compliance with the rules of behavior on the street is an indicator of pedestrian education and culture.

 

Since the rules of behavior are best strengthened in the process of children's activity, and especially in the game, we widely use various attributes: color vests, car pictures. In a group of large building materials, children build a street, remember which houses, shops are located in it, place appropriate road signs. Do not forget about the "islands of security." (Make them from a strip of paper.)

 

First, under the guidance of a tutor, and later on independently, children organize fascinating and useful games in which there are roles of drivers, pedestrians and regulators. Everyone wants to give white-gloved signals a real police whistle, but the regulator chooses one of the children who has not received any comments from the tutor today.

 

On the site of the kindergarten in the warm season, the guys ride on scooters, bicycles and cars, and in winter - on skis and sleighs. A real traffic light, to learn the rules of the road.

 

The traffic police gave the kindergarten a working model of the car: it had a steering wheel, lights and a light bulb on the top of the cab were lit. It was an honor to drive such a car, only those who did not violate the rules of the game "School of a pedestrian" could go on it.

 

The knowledge gained by the children in the process of the work done was fixed in the entertainments. The leisure time "Red, yellow, green" was fascinating: competitions of two preparatory groups "Solnyshko" and "Rainbow on which I live", the children passed in their drawings the characteristic details of cars, buildings that were seen on walks and excursions, road signs. Of the boxes and other materials were made in their games.

 

All these drawings were presented at an exhibition designed for disinfection "Red, yellow, green".

 

We understood that the work carried out in the kindergarten in isolation from the family does not give the desired results. There is a need for close contact between teachers and parents. That's why at the first parent meeting, the popes and mothers were introduced to the work being done in the kindergarten to introduce children to the rules of the road. The need for such work was also expressed in the speech by the traffic police officer.

 

To find out what assistance parents need in raising children's correct behavior on the street, they were asked to answer the following questions:

 

- Do you tell the children about the rules of the road traffic?

 

- Do you observe these rules yourself?

 

- What help would you like to receive from the educators of the nursery school on this issue?

 

The answers of the parents showed that many do not know what to tell the children about the rules of the road, how much, what materials to use. This gave us the opportunity to plan the topics of the talks, the content of the moving folders, which were updated during the year. In the preparatory groups appeared screen: "Red, yellow, green", "Attention - street!", "Everyone should know it", which gave advice on familiarizing preschool children with the rules of pedestrians, recommended literature for reading to children.

 

Summing up the results of the work done, it can be noted that children are well oriented in the streets adjacent to the kindergarten; when crossing the roadway, be careful and careful; know the main road signs; They are able to behave on the street, guided by the rules of culture of behavior in public places. We are sure that the knowledge of the "road diploma", acquired in kindergarten, will help future students become more disciplined and independent.
